Privacy notice
WonderVision Games, for iPad and iPhone. Last updated 26 July 2026.
We keep a record of how the games are played, and nothing about your eyesight. There is no account and no sign-up. What the app sends goes to a server we run ourselves, with no advertising network, no analytics company and no data broker in the middle. Nothing is sold or shared. Your Comfort Zones choices are not sent anywhere, and nothing times how fast you respond.
Who this is about
WonderVision Games is published by Vertolini, LLC ("we", "us"). This notice covers the WonderVision Games app for iPadOS and iOS, and this website at wondervision.vertolini.com.
What the app stores on your device
Everything the app remembers about you is written to your own device and stays there:
- Any player names you type in when adding a player.
- Your Comfort Zones choices, one set per player.
- Your sound, vibration and appearance preferences.
- Your scores, personal bests, stars, levels finished, awards earned, and the count of days you have played.
- Whether the one-time unlock has been purchased.
This is ordinary local app storage. None of it is sent to us. Deleting the app removes it from your device.
What the app sends to us
The app sends a record of how the games are played, so we can tell which games people enjoy, whether the levels are fair, and whether the app runs smoothly on real devices. It is sent in the background, it does not interrupt a game, and the app works exactly the same when it cannot be sent at all. It consists of:
- Play sessions. Which game, Free Play or which level, how the session ended, your score, how long it lasted, how many things slipped by and what kind.
- Progress. Levels finished, stars earned, personal bests beaten, awards earned, and days played in a row.
- Getting around the app. Which game cards and level buttons are tapped, when the awards shelf or Settings is opened, and which settings you change.
- The purchase. Whether the unlock screen was shown, from where, and whether a purchase was started, finished, cancelled or refused, along with the price the App Store quoted on your device. Not a receipt, a payment detail or anything that could be used to charge you.
- How well it runs. Frame rate, and whether the device was hot or in Low Power Mode.
- Basic device facts. App version, iPadOS or iOS version, device model, language and time zone.
All of it travels with a random identifier we generate for the app on your device. It is not your name, not your Apple Account, and not an advertising identifier. It lets us see that a series of sessions came from the same device, which is what makes the numbers mean anything. Apple's App Store label calls this "linked to your identity", and that is the honest answer, so that is what we declare.
What we deliberately do not collect
- Anything about your Comfort Zones. Not which circles you turned off, not how many, not whether the middle of the screen is one of them. We record only that the setup screen appeared and that you finished it. Where you can and cannot see is yours.
- Anything timing how fast you respond. No reaction times, no per-tap timing. There are no timers in this app, and there is no stopwatch running on you either.
- Your player names. We record how many players share the device. Not what they are called.
- Your accessibility settings. VoiceOver, Reduce Motion and text size would be useful to us. They are also nobody's business but yours.
- Your Game Center name or player ID.
- Your location. Not in any form. Time zone and language are not location.
- Health or medical information of any kind.
What the app still does not do
- No accounts. There is no sign-up, no login and no password.
- No advertising. No ads, no ad networks, no advertising identifier, no profiling, no targeting.
- No tracking, in Apple's sense or anyone else's. Nothing we hold is combined with anyone else's data, sold, or shared with a data broker. You will not see an "allow tracking" prompt from this app, because there is nothing to allow.
- No third-party SDKs. The app is built entirely on Apple's own frameworks. The analytics code is ours, sending to our own server.
- No location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera access. The app does not ask for any of these, because it does not use them.
- No notifications. The app does not send push notifications or reminders of any kind.
- No internet needed to play. Every game works fully offline.
Deleting what we hold
Ask us, and we will delete it. A request through the contact form gets everything recorded under your device's identifier erased from our server. There is nothing to prove and no account to log in to, because there are no accounts.
Your stars, personal bests, awards and Comfort Zones are stored separately on your device and are not touched. Deleting your play data does not cost you your progress.
Left alone, records are deleted on a schedule anyway: the individual events after 400 days, and the one-line summary of a play session or a purchase after two years. Running totals of how many events arrived, which carry no identifier and describe nobody, are kept.
Apple's role
Two optional features involve Apple, not us:
- The in-app purchase. If you buy the one-time unlock, the purchase is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see your name, your payment details or your Apple Account. The app only asks Apple whether a purchase exists so it knows what to unlock.
- Game Center. If you are signed in to Game Center, the app can submit your best scores and achievement progress to Apple's Game Center service so leaderboards and achievements work. This is entirely optional. If you do not sign in, nothing is submitted, nothing is missing from the app, and the app does not bring it up.
Apple's own privacy policy governs what Apple does with App Store and Game Center information. Game Center can be turned off in the iPad or iPhone Settings app.
Children
WonderVision Games is designed for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13. It asks no one for their name, their age, their email address or any other personal detail, so it collects none of those from children either.
This website
This site is a set of static pages. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds no tracking pixels, and loads no third-party fonts, scripts or images. As with any web server, our hosting provider keeps standard access logs (such as IP address, the page requested, and the time), which are used only to operate and secure the site.
Your rights
Privacy laws such as the GDPR and the CCPA give you rights to access, correct, delete and port your personal information, and to opt out of its sale. We do not sell or share personal information, and we have not. We hold no name, email address, phone number, postal address or payment detail for any app user, so there is nothing of that kind to disclose or correct.
The play records described above are held under a random identifier generated on your device. To have them deleted, or to ask for a copy of what is held, get in touch through the contact form and we will help. Records also expire on the schedule described above without any request at all.
Not a medical product
WonderVision Games is a collection of games. It is not a medical device, not therapy and not a vision test. It does not diagnose, treat, monitor or record anything about your eyesight or health, and the Comfort Zones screen is a comfort preference whose result is used only to decide where to place game objects on your own device.
Changes to this notice
If this notice changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date at the top. If what the app records changes, this page changes with it, in the same release.
